**Job Title:** Translator

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Translator to join our team. The Translator will be responsible for accurately translating written documents from one language to another while maintaining the original meaning and tone. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both the source and target languages, as well as cultural nuances, to ensure accurate and culturally sensitive translations.

**Responsibilities:**
1. Translate written documents, including but not limited to, articles, reports, correspondence, and marketing materials, from the source language to the target language.
2. Maintain the original meaning, style, and tone of the source text in the translated version.
3. Proofread and edit translated materials for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and coherence.
4. Conduct research and consult with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and clarity of specialized terminology.
5. Collaborate with team members and clients to discuss project requirements, deadlines, and any specific instructions.
6. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
7. Adhere to confidentiality and data protection policies when handling sensitive information.
8. Stay up-to-date with language trends, cultural developments, and industry-specific terminology.

**Requirements:**
1. Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field (preferred).
2. Proven experience as a Translator, with a strong portfolio of translated materials.
3. Excellent command of both the source and target languages, with exceptional writing and communication skills.
4. Proficiency in translation software and tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ, Wordfast).
5. Familiarity with industry-specific terminology and cultural nuances.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to produce high-quality translations under tight deadlines.
7. Strong research skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex topics.
8. Flexibility and adaptability to work with different languages and subject matters.
9. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
10. Certification or accreditation as a translator (preferred).
