United States International University- Professor’s Assistant
As a professor’s assistant, I developed lecture session course material on behalf of the lecturer. I also took on the role of lecture session instructor when required. My work also entailed keeping a record of all student academic performance, correspondence on behalf of the lecturer on course material, and maintaining a conducive working environment.
Internship
As an intern with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, I undertook the duties of:
• Official correspondence such as writing letters, note verbales, executive briefs and memos
• Making official calls to book appointments and ensuring the effective and smooth flow of work in the work place.
• Organizing, attending and coordinating internal and external meetings
• Researching on current political events and subsequent preparation of memos and other official documentation.
Bridge International Academies- Academic Training Consultant
Bridge International Academies is an international organization that brings high-quality, low-cost education to the slum dwellers in Kenya. In this organization, I undertook the duties of:
• Developing academic training material for teachers in training
• Creating training core goals and objectives for academic training sessions for new teachers
• Assisting with gathering information regarding teaching objectives for current teachers and those in training.
• Record keeping
• Documenting trainees’ concerns, questions and other information on a computer and share this data with Trainers on a daily basis
• Working within a team to oversee detailed documentation of attendance, scoring of tests, and trainees’ participation scores

In my position, I:
• Conduct market research by reading relevant publications such as journal articles and blogs in order to stay up-to-date with client’s chosen subject matter.
