Creating a marketing strategy involves considering many factors. For example, you should consider your target market, product, and price. You should also think about how you plan to promote your product or service and how long you want to keep your marketing strategy going. After thinking about these things, you’ll know how to build a marketing plan that works for you and your business. When creating a marketing strategy, you should consider the four P’s and the four D’s. The four P’s related to products- marketing strategies and target markets- your business should have three distinct marketing strategies that relate to pricing. The four D’s explain details such as design and delivery. These aspects will differ depending on the type of product or service you’re offering. A direct approach is quicker than the other marketing strategies because it involves more direct interaction with the target market. For example, if you’re selling books, a direct approach would involve personally going to each bookshop and promoting your books by yourself. You would also hand out copies of your books yourself at bookshops and other locations where books are sold. A more indirect approach would involve hiring someone to walk around bookshops handing out promotional materials yourself. This approach would involve less direct interaction with the target market since the person promoting your books wouldn’t be interacting with the people buying them. Building a successful marketing strategy involves considering many factors- such as your target market, product, and price- along with planning how you will promote it to your target market and gain customers. No one marketing strategy works for everyone; instead, you need to choose an approach that works for you and your business.
