Maintenance Planner
Job Description and other functions:
• Develops, maintains and monitors programs and systems such as Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Plans, schedules and coordinates all maintenance activities, both planned and reactive work.
• Develops work plans for maintenance (PM, RM and Corrective work) with necessary information to allow efficient scheduling, assigning and execution of maintenance work.
• Performs purchasing duties, as required, ensuring adherence to purchasing policies and 7/24 requirements for maintenance.
• Monitor spare parts inventory to ensure the most effective and least disruptive maintenance.
• Evaluates job feedback and makes recommendations to improve future planned work.
• Prioritizes work requests and work orders.
• Calculates planned work, based on open work with priorities, and forecasted available labour hours.
• Prepares training course materials and conducts training and demonstrations for users of CMMS / WMS concepts, and provides training and work direction to staff.
• Administers, prepares and coordinates requirements and reviews reports, specifications and documentation related to maintenance activities.
• Conducts field inspections and assessments and evaluates the condition of facilities and assets, including root cause analysis.
• Assists with budget preparation and tracking of expenditures.
• Arrange and submit documents, contracts, specifications and agreements for managers.
Other related job functions:
In-Charge in Rental and Project / Leasing Contract
• Performing background checks, credit checks (in coordination with accounts department) and other responsibilities to see if prospective Renters/Leasers are qualified
• Provide Rental / Leasing Equipment Quotation to customer base on given specification and standard requirement.
• In-Charge for the collection of all required rental/leasing requirements as per Saudi Guidelines.
• Receive and review Purchase Order base on the Submitted rental/leasing quotation.
• Administer all contracts and rental/lease agreements from award until completion.
• Manage all contract costs; verify and track costs according to the contract.
• Report and assist Project team with progress claims, quantity surveying, and monitoring of deliverables (Equipment’s and other spare parts related to the Rental / Leasing Projects).
• Addresses all aspects related to the contract with the client.
In-Charge in Billing and Invoicing
• Responsible for the creation of Rental / Leasing Billing Schedule using CMMS – Oracle
• Issue and post bills, receipts, and invoices
• Manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies
• Check the validity of debit accounts
• Ensure all clients remain informed on their outstanding debts and deadlines
• Provide solutions to any relative problems/downtime claims of clients
Safety and Health Management
• Inspect premises and the work of technicians/mechanics to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment).
• Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
• Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy during maintenance work and other mechanical related activities.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
• Proficient in using of Microsoft Software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Knowledgeable in CMMS Software’s (Oracle, Odoo System)
• With knowledge in Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
