I have worked since I was 15, with an illness that almost took my life but proud to say 20 years in remission. I started out as a cashier and after graduating HS, worked PT at Magna Bank as a Trust Secretary as I attended LLCC. I spent 3 years working for Pepsi Cola and 5 years as a Social Services Secretary for a Hospital before finding my niche in Accounting in nonprofit. I worked 27 years in nonprofit, the last 17 as either an Accountant or Business Manager. I never finished college, so my hard work and years of experience superseded any college degree. I was dedicated to my job and worked well independently with little to no supervision. My last job, I was the Accountant for 15 nonprofits that closed on a monthly basis.

I don’t believe in doing a job that isn’t perfect. I’m a quick learner and pay attention to detail. I type between 60-65wpm
