Hi, my name is Lara.

I am available 7 days a week, either early morning or evening. If another schedule is needed, I am very flexible and ready to adapt. I am very open-minded and have worked with people all around the world.

I am easygoing and down-to-earth and I accept every project that comes my way. If it’s something I already did, I will gladly do it again and ace it! If it’s something new, my eyes will sparkle and I won’t be able to wait to get my hands on the project and learn something new, while still creating magic!

I am currently a freelancer and working on creating my own art company and trying to succeed in the e-commerce world. When I am not busy with that I like to work on the book I am writing which I will self-publish somewhere next year.

After years of working to pay for my studies and finally graduating twice, I have decided to put myself out there, to become a writer and an editor people can rely on! I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Mediation and Languages. I also had the honor of being a tutor for 3 years at my University (where I helped students with their studies, writing assignments and provided them feedback on their work). I was handpicked by my English professor, upon reading a few of my essays; we had to write for class. Then I finished my Master’s Degree in Translation and Communications.

After five years of studies, two internships, from which the latter led to a job and got me 2 years of experience with editing and proofreading articles.

The first internship was at my country’s Consulate in France and the other for a translation company Iolar in my country, where I needed to complete 300 hours of work on translation and article writing. After the internship, Iolar offered me a job as an article writer and editor. I edited finished translations before they went into print or were sent to clients.

I put myself out there as much as possible. A few years ago, I participated in a Summer Writing Contest and got 4th place in my group! I am still proud of the piece I wrote – An urban fiction (attached below). It was part of a writer’s association site called The Write Practice.

As I was finishing my studies and I wanted to make something on the side, I also worked as a freelancer for companies online through sites Outsourcerly and Fiverr.

I worked as a hostel manager for 2 years, leaving my freelance work behind, I decided to come back and try again. I would be delighted to work for you if you give me this opportunity and I promise that you will not be disappointed if you choose me. 🙂
