I am a freelance medical / health writer/editor and I also enjoy translating. Studying the immunological mechanisms underlying allergy and tolerance in human skin and oral mucosal Langerhans cells in an attempt to unravel the mechanisms involved in this process using an in-house developed state-of-the-art immune competent human skin and gingiva model.
This has resulted in a dissertation in 2015 and a public defense on April 14th, 2016.
