Assistant Manager – Accounting and Finance Operations and Controls
1)Main task is to ensure CBIS’s vendor invoices are posted on time, and run payment in NAV system once approvals in place
2)Prepare and post the monthly journal entries include but not limited to; prepayment amortization, accruals, OPEX, CAPEX, tax liability and intercompany income
3)Staff accommodation and transport cost allocation to cost centres based on occupancy/usage
4)Fixed assets capitalization and monthly depreciation
5)IFRS 16 related tasks for Leases – extends technical support for Commercial Bank as well
6)Financial controls :
•Monthly proof sheet preparations
•Intercompany account reconciliation
•Suspense account reconciliations and follow ups
7)CBIS Invoice preparation for monthly cost recharge to CB in order to recognize the revenue
8)Monthly Financial reports – Preparation of CBIS Financials which is shared with QCB reporting team for consolidation.

Project Trek is an IBM initiative intended to separate the IBM Global Financing operations from mainline operations to create a separate legal entity in achieving its business objectives. The primary responsibilities include:
1)Focal for FY 2016 audit preparation for those newly created
Trek entities
2)Perform assessment of discontinued operation or asset held for sales disclosure requirements for FY 2016 audit.
3)Performed the India lease asset written down value
reconciliation, to support the slump sales requirements
4)Become the SME (subject matter expert) on project Trek, share, coach and guide new team members once Trek has fully go live.
5)Financial statement preparer for some of the newly
createdTrek entities for FY 2016 statutory
