This is a position I am extremely interested in, as writing in general is a passion of mine. I would love the opportunity to earn money doing something I am passionate about.

Currently, I work as administration for a local trailer business. This involves daily interactions with customers, manufacturers, and staff. Scheduling for customers to pick up for their newly purchased trailers, as well as, any paperwork associated with their sales and licensing. Warranty registration, ensuring work orders/pre inspections are entered and completed prior to customers being called for pick ups. New policies and procedures memos/e-mails for staff are a job task of mine, as well as, assisting the marketing teams with their trailer descriptions, and different strategies to reach out to a new customer base, as well as, keeping the eye of our current customers. The field in general is very competitive, being able to assist to make our business number one in our area is very rewarding.

As for skills and background my field of work is diverse. I have worked as a production supervisor via automotive weld robots, as well as windows, data entry, scheduling, job descriptions, detail orientation was critical!

For eight years, I have been the sole proprietor of a tax preparation and bookkeeping business. Operating Microsoft suite, as well as, various other taxation software is essential for Sense for Cents accounting services. Again paying attention to detail, as well as, knowing how to properly research the ‘unknown’ is extremely important in this field of work, as others are relying on you to do the most knowledgeable and detailed work possible to ensure that if an audit occurs everything is a hundred percent as per CRA standards.

Amongst COVID lockdowns, and the end of the world as we knew it at that time, the company I had worked for went under due to loss of sales, and suppliers also folding during the uncertain times. During this time I went into school for nursing and did exceedingly well, however found out quickly this was not a passion of mine. The skills I bring forward from this temporary career choice are empathy and terrific interpersonal skills. Patience, and being able to look outside the box during complicated situations to find solutions.

The best thing about the lockdown however, was the ability to have free time which in my time meant writing little novels on platforms for others to enjoy. This allowed me to be creative and dig deep into the English language to expand my vocabulary. To avoid being repetitive, but also to give a twist on basic sentences. Nothing is more exciting than finding a new word to liven up a text.

All my past work experience required being able to prioritize jobs, paying extensive attention to detail, and being able to work under pressure.

To be given the opportunity to do something in a field in which I am already so passionate about; writing, would be phenomenal and a dream come true.

Not to come off as presumptuous, however, I do look forward to the opportunity to discuss further how I may be an asset to your team and showing you that this would be not a regret down the road on either behalf, but the start to something beautiful. As cliche as that sounds.
