This is my main  responsibilities:

  • Provide technical IT support to customers. Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex hardware problems& parts replacement.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows XP/7, Microsoft Office 2010, 2013, anti-virus software and working with printer issues
  • Fast Typing Speed and Editing skills.
  • Review data for deficiencies, errors and discrepancies and correct, if possible
  • Enter text based and numerical information from source data into company databases within time limits
  • Troubleshoot and resolve PC & Laptop issues relating to hardware, software, security, and network
  • Past work experience in a high-paced customer focused service setting and an ability to self-prioritize tasks
  • Supervises activities related to the operation and staffing of the IT service desk including, but not limited to
  • Assists in the installation and configuration of appropriate hardware, systems, and applications for users. Ensures new users are equipped with the appropriate technical devices and support
  • Installs, supports, and maintains PC applications in a Windows based Active Directory environment. Software includes Operating Systems, MS Office, Remote Access Technologies, System Management tools and various business unit software titles
  • Monitoring the ticketing system to ensure issues are being addressed in a timely manner
  • Resolves problems identified via Help Desk Trouble Tickets; troubleshoots and provides support to all end users as needed
  • Provides 2nd & 3rd level support in performing analyses, testing, and updates of hardware systems. Diagnoses and solves recurring hardware and software faults to ensure the most efficient computer systems and devices for users
  • Installation & Configuration IBM Power Systems infrastructures that include AIX, PowerVM, VIOS, SAN, and Storage.
  • Installation & configuration  EMC storage hardware: VNX unified and block, Unity, PowerStore, PowerMax, Vmax, ECS, XtremIO, data domain, Centera, create RAID Groups, storage pool, Bind LUNs,
  • Managing storageincluding storage provisioning, performance tuning, adding volumes, assigning ports,
  • Talk to customers’ over the phone or via email to provide solutions to technical problems
  • Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting to identify clients issues
  • Provide customers accurate information on IT products and services
  • Develop and implement technical procedures effective in quickly addressing customers’ problems to minimize downtime
  • Carry out assessments to determine the need for changes in hardware/software configurations
  • Educate clients on procedures for resolving or preventing recurrence of a technical problem
  • Act as liaison between the IT unit of an organization and it’s clients
  • Explain and provide IT solutions to customers in non-technical and comprehensible terms
  • Proffer recommendations to clients looking to purchase new equipment or replace existing ones
  • Prepare and present reports to update management on IT support operations
  • Operate and work with equipment such as smartboards, external storage devices, computer diagnostic tools, printers etc.
  • Respond to inquiries about hardware or software issues
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on computer systems to ensure efficient operations
  • Repair or replace faulty components of a computer/network system
  • Design and maintain applications/websites for clients
  • Attend educational programs, workshops, and seminars to stay abreast with developments in the IT industry.
