Applied experience and education of natural resource measurements, forest ecology, wildlife, and insects and disease to create landowner reports, timber values. These values were compiled into ArcGIS data to form Forest Management Maps.

Operated ArcGIS 10.1 and CAM Software as well as conducted field Surveying for property boundaries and leveling.

FTC 208 Remote Sensing and GIS

Learned to use ArcGIS 10.1 ESRI ArcMap in order to digitize and create vector data such as points, polylines, and polygons; use geoprocessing tools such as clipping, intersect, union, dissolve, buffer; edit attributes of shapefiles; calculate geometrical properties; add and style labels and symbology of shapefiles; style and visualize raster data; convert raster to vector files and vice versa; georeference a paper map, properly use data frame coordinate systems; download GPS data, change coordinate systems in ArcCatalog; use Spacial Analyst Extension, and extract by mask.
