Experience
Marketing Assistant
In my current role as Marketing Assistant for Pursuit of Bliss I have successfully helped the company grow by utilizing my skills in social media marketing, graphic design, website design, podcast editing, email marketing and video editing.
Brand Photographer & Coach
I was a professional photographer and worked with various businesses. I helped my clients discover what made their brand unique, define their style, brand tone and ideal customer so the visuals I styled and captured would attract their ideal customers. My goal was to create one of a kind visuals for my clients that would increase their sales and build brand awareness. I excelled at managing multiple client projects and my eye for design ensured I was detail oriented.
As a motivated entrepreneur I have written many blog posts and social media posts for my own business to market my services. Social media marketing and content marketing was my most effective method to obtain clients. I was able to grow my Pinterest up to 250K monthly views, my website had 3k monthly views and I grew my email list to over 6k, all through content marketing. I understand that a company must share value with potential customers and inspire them through written and visual content before they know, like and trust a brand and feel compelled to make a purchase.
I also have a thorough understanding of search engine optimization. Through the use of long form keywords in my digital content I was able to have my website show up on the first page of Google when someone searched the term “brand photography course.”
Marketing Strategist
Some of my responsibilities as Marketing Strategist at Le Chateau were writing, copy editing, proofreading, and researching. I wrote about various lifestyle topics and the newest fashion styles for the company’s blog. I demonstrated how these new pieces would help the customer achieve the look they desired and showcased the brand's aesthetic and versatility.
As part of my role I created the internal magazine that educated store associates on the new collections that came out each season. The position required me to gather information about the various casual, semi-formal and formal collections from the head designers and research current fashion trends. While I worked at Le Chateau I also captured photos and videos to accompany the written content so everything was consistent with the brand’s tone and style.
