terminology and anatomy.
Assist provider in navigating the EMR.
Mathematical skills ‑ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all
units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Prepare and interpret charts and graphs. Have the ability to compute
ratio and percent.
Reasoning Ability ‑ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry
out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to
apply logic and draw conclusions based on knowledge. Have the ability to
refer to reference materials to solve problems.
Documents, in the electronic medical record, medical visits/procedures as

Reviews medical documentation to validate information and to identify
inconsistencies or errors and ensure overall accuracy of the medical
record in accordance with established standards and requirements.
Charts encounters between physicians or other practitioners and patients
in real time and organizes care data to maximize efficiency and
productivity of clinical care in actual medical exams.
Complies with specific standards that apply to the style of medical
records and to the legal and ethical requirements for preparing medical
documents and for keeping patient information confidential.
Complies with HIPAA confidentiality standards when accessing or
communication patient information while scribing.
Captures accurate and detailed description of patient encounters with a
provider and enters into electronic medical record (EMR).
Accompanies providers and directly observes patient encounters
